Quite amazing the amount of people that post tunes and expect feedback yet don't bother to take 5 minutes to listen to others and do the deed.

Agreed. I find it almost insulting when people whore out their music, without even bothering to show any kind of support for others.

In these times of disposable music, we need to embrace each others' art and maintain a healthy community, through collaboration, constructive feedback, support and most importantly respect.

There are a few people who do show support, but the majority are only in it for themselves.

Sorry if I sound sour.

I'm all with you on that one guys,what's the point of a feedback thread if everybody would come here and drop their tracks,who's gonna give feedback in their logic???Automated feedback machine wtf,come on guys..Is it that hard to listen to 4-5 tracks and give some feedback

"Almost" eh? I'll make sure my next one is impossible to resist dancing to, haha. Thanks for letting me know, much appreciated. :D:

Listening to your sig tune again mate, dunno if you saw my feedback before. I really like how moody and quite unsettling vibe. Levels wise, hats could be brought down a notch. The keys and pads could be brought up. I said it feels quite empty, I think this is because you don't have much in the way of fills, crashes, risers, etc. going into each section, or major new elements that briefly appear for parts - so at the moment it sort of plods along without any real sense of progression.

What you got is a great foundation to play with and start building ontop of.

@ bugsky. O yea, love that bass. Mad atmosphere in your sig tune!! Lucky you have the upbeat drums, makes it mint! Nice samples aswell! wooooooo!! I hear some keys too :D!!!!!!

@ NHRc, i did give ya feedback but here's again. I reckon this tune would suit a big fuck off loud snare, like skream uses in a couple of parts. Would suit it well!!

This is what i posted on page back. IT's a different approach. It's really mellow, and melody happy again. A friend describe it to me as being reborn and seeing the light of day LOL. So yea take as you will. Hope some people appreciate the happyness as i'm not all about dark n hard dub :). I'm a big fan of IDM, so this tune has an influence from that, esp with the organ etc.

@bradicle, yeah man like the melody on this, im not a fan of dark and hard dubstep either. Only thing id suggest is add a bit more interesting percussion, get the beat shuffling a bit more, even get rid of the snare at times and use different percussion part to get the vibe going, esp in the intro some percussion would add to it. some filter sweeps perhaps to change it a bit late on? i dunno....good effort.

@krave, like the tune, i think i could do something nice with this. Have you got the project all broken up in stems for remixing?

And i totally agree, people need to share their feedback if they expect it returned. :roll:

cheers

just posting my new mixtape up here; all dubs by me, not intended to show off my mixing ability but just to showcase the dubs all at once really. let me know if anybody likes any of them and wants a copy of a track! not all of them are finished being mixed/mastered either, so be wary of some less-than-average production levels on some tracks.. comment on soundcloud if you want so it's easier for me to comment you back!

lol at the crazy ass wobble... cool wobble and stuff but i guess its lacking rhythm. it doesnt mix well with the violins n stuff... you could work on mixing in the vocal samples better. and the drums at the beginning were all over the place

@Dynexxx: Love the wobs but the pauses when the samples come in are a bit bare, I would add maybe a reverse cymbal leading up to them as it makes it sorta jolty and interrupts the flow of the track

@bugsky: Love that, great breaky drums and nice bass. Very danceable.

Thanks for the comments guys
I'm currently using FL Studio 9 demo with a whole mess of plugins...
The only downfall with the demo is not being able to save a project...

@Krave
First thing i hear is sidechain is really heavy and pardon me for saying but maybe a bit sloppy on the ADSR. tighten it up and it will be so much more powerful. if you know your math it should be easy. vocal is really sweet, and i'm digging the super left field type wonky synth-focused stuff. i wanted some warm sub bass blankets on this track but there were none, still, thanks for the chill head bobber dude. POST FEEDBACK NEXT TIME FIRST GRR :q:

@Asterix
feels like the chords don't sit on top of the beat in the intro , they stray at least a beat or two. maybe that was your intention, but for some parts it's like.... oh.... no.... the volume fades could be smoother, you can hear noise of things going in and out really clearly, transitions aren't smooth. i appreciate the use of bitcrush/redux/s+h/yaw bass, but it does bug me a bit when it's not automated much if at all. it's pretty much the whole part of the wobble. leave it out for a good chunk with regular bass and then bring it in before the downbeat or something i dunno.i don't hear like... ANY subs either. the hell is with people not putting subs in their tunes? LEAVE FEEDBACK NEXT TIME GRRRRR :q:

@Cynic
Tekky and strange which is good, don't really like the vocal sample much. not too catchy. Needs more sub bass, like a 1-2dB boost 60-80hz-ish on your sub track (if there is one :? ) Mid basses sounds really plain except for a few, i like the subby triplets before the downbeat and the reverbed YOY, thats slick.

@Bradicle
Let Me Breathe
Every time i make a tune with pianos like this i feel like it takes itself much to seriously, but it sounds like you might be able to pull this type of tune off better than i can. The melody is really catchy, nice work on that. Drums are really cool, kick could use a small boost as could the sub, snares and hats sound just right for this. The fill before drop 2 is madness, and love the tom use afterwards. I think i recognize that outro downsweep from my favorite sample pack :t: .

Fantasy
Okay i can see the style of tune you're going for. Very poppy in my opinion which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Sounds like it's got a huge female vocal shaped hole in it. Samples used for drums and fx and blips and blops are really nice

@Soosh21
Besides the lack of big subs in this, You could probably sell this tune to a rapper, if it was a bit fatter someone might buy this. guitar is prime. Snare could use a high end boost. kick needs a small volume boost.

@joekool
Why would i listen to your fourteen minute mixtape if you didn't post anyyyy feedback for anyone else. NOooO tiime fooor yoooou

@Dougriley
Should probably post this in the w.i.p. thread. not terrible, but its definitely wip class. the synth wobbles are nice. where are the SUBS?!

@Den5hion
this tune is definitely my style. Love the harmonic walking bits with the high end bass, needs subs.

I feel like no one uses subs anymore. What the hell?!>!?>?!>?!

OK HERE IS MY NEW TRACK
someone called it Psychedelic Brostep, someone else called it Terrorstep i dunno.
Check it out, i've gotten a lot of feedback and i think this one is just about ready.
