Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
Hey everyone!!!! i've been djing for 3 years and i finally decided to get into production!!! i am from the united states and i love dub!!!! some of my favorite artists are caspa & rusko, savoy, and major laser!!! i'm really excited to get this whole thing going!!
Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
Hi guys,
I've always been into all sorts of EDM, mostly house, techno, "electro", and nu disco, but recently more and more into dubstep. I'm pretty new to lots of artist/labels, yet have to find out which I really like. For now lots of obvious stuff like Skream, Benga (and definitely Magnetic Man), also some Zed's Dead and High Rankin. I'd guess my fav dubstep tune now would be Zed's Dead remix of "Doin' Time" by Sublime.
Been bedroom djing for a few years, and have an absolute hat for spinning top 40. Been producing on and off for a few years too (like a tiny bit of on and a shitload of off), but getting seriously into it after buying Ableton last month. Dubstep is by far the funnest genre I've attempt to produce.
I'm hoping to read some good stuff here and if anyone's interested in hearing my mixes (non-dubstep for now) or productions (a bit of dubstep, but going to be limited to dubstep in the future
) you can always check out my Soundcloud (http://www.soundcloud.com/claudeperdu).

Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
So I was originally into Jungle stopped clubbing listened to mainly Hip Hop with some Roots / Dub for years discovered Dubstep through Burial and Skream and am still discovering just how varied this is. I've been lurking here for about 18 months or so on and off then registered to post that Circadian is the nuts. The only benefit from getting into dubstep relatively recently is that there's a massive back catalogue of stuff that I get to enjoy for the first time that you've known for years. Especially loving Vex'd, Peverelist Shackleton Distance and Benga atm but there's so much good stuff out there
Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
Hi thought I'd introduce myself here. I produce dubstep amongst other things and have been for about 1 year now. I give free tunes out on here and it's going along well so far. I also have an oriental themed song coming out for free soon
I'm from England too, like the more chilled dubstep tbh...

Ez all.
I'm Paddy, living in Bristol.
I'v checked this forum for a long time, have joined mostly to (unashamedly) promote my little project, Dirty Old Town.
Check the Southwest events section and Mixes section on here for event listings and audio that i'v posted up.
Here are some links, the DOT website should be up in the next day or two, but in the meantime, check out the other linkage.
Cheers.

Hello.
Finally managed to join. Some may know me from dubstep.de, where i'm a proud member since 07, i think. (yo Germany!). Hope, i can help with some interesting and/or useful stuff in exchange for the mass of infos which i heard you get here. Im always looking for Vocal stuff, especially decent Rap/Ds collabos - without really liking mad decent, by the way. Nappy is king! (Btw, does anyone know a more quiet, nighty Remix of "its a pity"? Im looking for it since, like, literally ages. And, another one, 6blocc bttbx, the "follow my disaster" rudevoice track.) Ghettohouse/tech and further House/Techno is up and coming for me, too.
Regards,
Fnsta.

"Burn Babylon" is not a proper argument.
Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
Hi guys! I'm a jazzmetalhead from Finland and I Just discovered dubstep this summer. Started doing some own dubstep songs straightaway after being introduced to dubstep. Can't say anything more than that I'm ridiculously hooked on dubstep. =)

Hi Guys,
I'm glad I registered myself here finally! To say a bit about me: I'm a music producer. I hail from India but currently reside in Toronto, Canada. I dabble in all kinds of electronic music. Dubstep has obviously been my principal choice, especially for the past 8 months. I did classical piano when I was young, then Jazz and blues, then got into making Hip-Hop beats, Film scores, Trip-Hop, Lounge and now Dubstep.
Owing to my Indian background or love for improvisation or whatever, I love writing melodies! Finding the right voice and arrangement to fit my track and geeking out on production and engineering, like most of y'all that are on here, is something I love to do
You can check out my music in the following links:
