rofl @ the idea of cookie monsta being better than coki.

some opinions are better off not being expressed.

this forum makes me laugh.
rofl @ this.....

everyone has different opinions, and everyones music taste differs... just because someones taste in music differs from your 'oh so mighty one', doesn't mean they can't express opinions. You must live a sheltered life mate.

IN MY OPINION!, i much prefer cookie monsta over coki. And i like producers from funtcase, cookie monsta, flux pavilion, culprate etcetc through to the likes of phaeleh, tunnidge, cyrus etcetc. People have a right to express there opinions, and, if you don't accept others opinions on music, then you my friend, should certainly not be on a forum

this made interesting reading!

thankyou to anyone who has seen it, wether you like it or not!

i promised myself i wouldnt reply should anyone mention my masterclass on this forum but there are some seriously stupid comments on here which have confirmed why i dont bother with forums anymore as i feel its not much opinion anymore its usually a rant.

i understand fully im marmite, i understand i have a following but i would just like to explain that this masterclass i expected people to kind of forget what people thought of my music and just took a look at how i work. the whole video was actually computer music's combination of 'its not what youve got, its how you use it' and that they liked my production quality and wanted to broadcast it.
i find it quite naive of people saying they know all of what ive mentioned in the video, they told me to be quite regular in what i explain, im not sure why any of you would have thought that i would have told my more advanced secrets, i was just told to show how i made a track and what i did in it.

i think i agree with ruckus49's comments the most, he expressed that he wasnt a fan of my stuff but gave the most valid opinion as he didnt sit there and be crucial about the whole thing.

if you watched it big up, i hope you were able to take anything from it, if you havent watched it because you dont like my style fair enough. but dont sit on a thread about the video and just whinge about my music, theres other threads for that ;)

This isn't a personal calling out thing, but funk me, people need to open their minds and realise that one way, isnt the only way..
No, because I saw it in general. I was hyped up to go buy it and then saw it was someone on the dvd who has only been around for 5 minutes. I only buy it for the dvd so it was disappointing. Then it had some shite house samples. I am not the only person who finds it appauling - there was 3 people flicking through it when I was and we all had a conversation about it... One said "whos this fassy man witha mask on" which made me crease. I don't dislike that whole circus thing with a passion I just don't think they deserve mainstream exposure, yet.

I find what you said very insulting and extremely funny.
Depone wrote:This isn't a personal calling out thing
If it wasn't then you wouldn't of said anythin'..

(been away for like a week and a bit - so hadn't had time to reply).

..

Going on what Funtcase said - its obvious computer music ask the producers to give a general insight into what they do with their music, if anythings to technical then it'll turn into a geek fest and it won't be entertaining to watch for 80% of their market... fair play to Funtcase for doing the video (i can imagine a lot of people turning down master classes due to them being marmite) and that I just personally would of liked to seen someone who I haven't known about for 2 months (literally) on the dvd!

I did eventually buy it, it was bugging me and had to see it.... I thought it was a decent watch wasn't my favourite but by far wasn't the worse i'd seen - I do have a little more respect for the whole new movement in dubstep as it isn't as simple as it appears once you see the project file.

Like always - I don't love it and I don't hate it! I'd just of preferred someone like Reso to do one as I feel hes grafted enough and has just as good-if not better production values (and I am not even a great fan of his music!).

Thats my views on this anyways, it isn't damaging me in any way and if mr funtcase has more money in his pocket from it then big ups to you - you're doing what 90% of people on this board to want to do and that is earn money from their passion.

Sorry... I certainly am no elitist, quite the opposite infact. Massive dub police fan, flux fan, etc etc. But Cookie monsta better than Coki? That is embarrassing.
I personally think cookie monsta is about as good with music as midgets in theme parks.

now this thread is getting interesting...
I Agree with what legend said about it not becoming too technical, or it would isolate other watchers/readers.
Deeply I wish though that they were allow technical explanations for once.
Seems to be the only way I personally benefit, esp if your not using the same software as the host.
