Re: Giant Spider Web Covered Forest
There is a place in the woods near here that we call spider alley... and it's got fucking nothing on that original post.

Just because you are a character, does not mean you have character.

Jumping spiders scare the shit out of me, but I'm indifferent to spiders in general. Still wouldn't go in there, tho.

Re: Giant Spider Web Covered Forest
they look huge but the perspective is warped
apparently theres things in south africa which are attracted to human hair, they look like spiders but they're actually big insects, just cant remember what they're called!

Re: Giant Spider Web Covered Forest
Though that pic was well creepy when I first saw it, or that is must be fake.
But I now realise that its just someone holding 2 stuck together closer to the camera than it looks.
Thank god there isn't something the length of a human leg that looks like that!

Same here, have a respect for most living creatures, but there are some that the world would be a nicer place without.
Like camel spiders and wasps. Hate those c*nts!

Re: Giant Spider Web Covered Forest
I had camel spiders as 'pets' when I was 7 or so. A little learning on any topic can get rid of lousy fear. Guess the world is more exciting when you have no clue and go by instinct though. Maybe finding out it's one of the very few arachnids that lacks any form of venom would ruin the whole fairy tale, for a start
Also that picture of 'one on someone's face' was a moulted skin, and not even one from a 'camel spider'
Here's another cool non-venomous arachnid
