Erm I think you'll discover modular synths being used in Aphex Twin's material for quite some time.

UK promotions agency Hyponik appear to have procured an exclusive new video from Aphex Twin.

Entitled Seaside Specials, you can stream it below. What do you get? A 93-second clip of Richard D. James’ scary visage causing mischief by the sea and in the thick of a rave, set to a straightforward – in a good way – jungle-leaning track which may or may not be a brand new production (if anyone recognises it, please leave a comment). The clip ends with the legend: 12 March 2011. A release date for the track, perhaps, but far more likely a hint that AFX will play at the Hyponik-affiliated Bloc Weekend festival (which takes place March 11-13).

We’ll update you when we know more.

Yeah, but what I meant was that he said that he has made some modular based albums and I like that sound of that. I know he's used em before.
