slowly. slowly. slowly, he is learning. you can 'save as' in safari, but i all i get is an mp3 looking icon, which actually doesnt contain any actual information.
surely its an easy, 'one click away' type thing, im just not in the know...
thanks for the reply dubway
if you just click on a mp3 link in safari, then it will load the file INTO safari using quicktime. when the file completes downloading, you can then right click on the mp3 in safari and "save as source". another faster way is to right click on the mp3 link and save to desktop.

I'm on a mac as well... just right click 'download linked file'
another way to do it once the embedded quicktime thing is in your window, is to just go to file and pick save as. works like a charm for me...

downloading this mix is vital 8)
I seek knowledge

night deposit wrote:nice selections! thanks for putting up the link joenice...
it opens a quick time player to listen to it... but can someone tell me how to actually d-load it? still trying to flesh out my skills...
and if somebody knows about good settings for recording radio programs w/ wiretap, pm me... didnt you post about this ...um, boomnoise? cant remember...
anyhow, wikked set. love that moldy tune... especially good...

Doing a Right Click -> "save as" or "save target as", should let you download the file.

Big show, joe!
