I am trying to achieve a build up ("wind up" sound) by automating the pitch of my synth to a higher octave over a few bars. Ive been messing around with massive assigning the pitch to a knob and recording midi data over the track. My question is if this is the way to go about creating that "wind up" sound. If there are other ways to create this same effect please share your thoughts!
creating riser, pitch modulation?
