Was wondering when this thread would cease to look like a bunch of high school girls at the lunch table.

i dont see anyone else putting together songs and synths the way he does, especially anyone who has talked shit in this thread. he does look like a retard, but some of his songs (hey sexy lady remix and scary monsters and sprites) are pro.

he's taking full advantage of screamo and that sort of music dying out and dubstep blowing up, and why not?

Why did nature build into humans this destructive, anti-joy original sin element of seriousness? Without it men might float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. With seriousness we float like elephants and sting like fleas.

this marketing tactic, to come on this forum and try and hype a new artist, by creating a few bait screennames, creating some hyped up threads, creating this "most hated" kind of status.......doesn't work out so good in the long run, as it begins to look like micky mouse promotions/publicity. its not the first time or the last time that some people think this sort of promotion works. now i'm not saying that thats whats happening here as I'm not sure at this point, but in the last 2months there's been a lot of attitude from new screennames that've been on here to defend the artist in question in different threads. when hype and internet attitude combine together to do the talking.....you missed the boat completely....when the most important thing that should be happening is that the music does all the talking.

i did think this at first when i kept seeing threads pop up like 'omg skrillex = sonny moore' but i didn't think that any self respecting person would really do that. guess i was wrong.

I wouldn't say that. He's did more in the grand scheme of music prior to his skrillex adventures than every person in this thread will do in their bitch made lives. From First To Last were kinda big for a minute there.

He's just the hate fodder of the moment.

cimmyk wrote:"I feel like dubstep is the new punk.". Interesting and groundbreaking theory, bro.

So Skrillex was in From First to Last.. It's probably that entire screamo fanbase buying up all his stuff on Beatport.
touring with deadmau doesn't hurt either ;)
