The final few copies of this release are now at the distributor so should be filtering back into stores over the next couple of days.
Once it's gone it's gone. This will not be re-repressed so grab it while you can.

As we approach the official release of ARE003 tomorrow. We would like to give a massive thanks to the BM-Soho gang for tipping us as their dubstep highlight for the week and their web master Snook, putting us 2nd in his picks for the week chart. BM-Soho has long been a mecca for dubstep heads so this is a real honour for us. As well as this we also had a good feature in Kmag at the start of the month. To kick off the new release we are also pleased to announce the opening of our online shop where you can buy all our releases and a little bit of merchandise.

We can confirm that several digital retailers now have ARE003 for sale, links on the release page of our website. If your a vinyl lover please take note!!! Vinyl will be in stores in the next 3 weeks. Each copy will be individually hand stamped with a number 1 - 150, plus as a bonus you will find included a form to complete and send to us giving you MP3 copies of the tracks plus a bonus MP3 ep, along with some logo stickers for your sticking pleasure. With momentum building around the first 2 split singles and the labels podcast series, Area Recordings prepares to unleash the first solo release from head honcho Be-1ne. Delving further into the vast palette of sound quickly becoming associated with the label, these to killer cuts seek to forge a new direction in the revitalisation of the seminal dubstep sound.

Lead track ‘tube sound’ kicks off with a sonic journey in suspense slowly building in anticipation of what is to be unleashed on the listener. The first barrage of the track in its entirety whisks the listener into a realm of futuristic bass music. Throbbing sub, weighty drums and swelling mids swirl round the listener taking them into a new territory of 140 bass music setting a precedent of what is to come and be expected of Area Recordings releases.

The b side follows the same vein of less is more, while keeping it melodic and funky. Building through and eerie soundscape filling the listeners mind with cinematic imagery, the track drops into a sub filled, percussion based roller. The sounds morph and weave around each other offering an enjoyable ride while simultaneously rocking the dance floor.
