Betamorph Recordings - Community Feedback

Post by betamorph recordings » Tue Nov 09, 2010 1:47 pm

Ez Peeps.

We're over here slaving our dicks off trying to make this label the best it can be. It's been a long road of trial and errors. A long list of close peeps along the way.

If you have any constructive criticisms please let us know. And by all means, please do rip us a new one if necessary. We're just really curious to see what the community thinks.

What are we doing that you like?

What are we not doing that we should be doing?

If you have naked pix post em here.

Personally? I find a lot of the out put on the label to be very uninspiring - I can see how a lot of it would work on the dancefloor but as a dj I only carry a couple of bangers/harder stuff with me as I feel if a set has more than 3-4 bangers in a set it gets a bit monotonous.

I have only wanted a handful of tracks from the label and out of what? 30odd releases (since I am a primarily vinyl dj I haven't bought em). I get your label has a certain target audience and I obviously am not it - would be nice to push the boat into other aspects of the scene though instead of the in-your-face upfront dancefloor orientated bits.

Keep doing what you're doing though - Like I said I am obviously not your target market and i'm sure you do enough as it is!

I think that Deej should wear a wig (like this >) :m: and suit and get a blackberry commercial campaign going as it would really solidify his standing as a record company executive.

More womp as well!

;)

To the uninitiated Betamorph is the shit and I am all kindsa la confidentialed atm.

my unbiased opinion...they are getting better with age. seeing them mature in the community from marketing strategy to substance with their music has been delightful. a lot of the older stuff in the catalog didn't phase me, but as everyone steps up to the next level it seems as though Betamorph has been following suit, and it reflects in the quality of their releases.

now maybe i see it like that because i'm not a purist when it comes to the soundscapes Dubstep provides, but either way, watching them grow and mature at a steady pace is wonderful.

big thumbs up for Deej and the entire Betamorph fam.

if you wanted true community feedback I'd advise against giving the thread to everybody involved in betamorph.....

It often amazes me that people associate Betamorph with a "Heavy Label" Sure, we release harder choons. But check out some of these Newman ;)

the Megafilth EP is tame in comparison to a lot of the stuff released on Betamorph. it surprised the hell out of me.
