Whutz a good free MP3 encoder for 320's and whutnot?
I use Adobe Audition but, there does'nt seem to be a setting to change the bitrate in there..

You can change the bitrate in audition....when you click save and choose the file format simply go to options.....

so far the best thing i've found is this. i enjoy it very much.

it will make any file you need and its free unless you would like to donate. Audacity is another cool program, but maybe something you dont wanna bust into everytime you going to make an mp3 or other type of file. it's an open source project so it is also based on LAME encoding. on top of that its cross platform.

if you wanna stay with itunes you can get a LAME plugin hereOnce the audio is extracted, Max can generate audio in over 20 compressed and uncompressed formats including MP3, Ogg (Vorbis), FLAC, AAC, Apple Lossless, Monkey's Audio, WavPack, Speex, AIFF, and WAVE.
