that's only until you find the holes in it
or until you find another one that makes even more sense

you'll see many people go through this kind of experiences, how many of these really gets confirmed by their life?

judging by how lost the people are, the only shift i see really probable is the merging with cybernetics
but nothing is impossible, except us evaluating correctly these probabilities based on the little data we know

why do you so desperately want change?
and seek the metaphysical?
is this life not enough for you?

looking around you'd be sick to not want change and spiritual development, whatever that might mean

yeah I think I kinda understand what you mean.. but isn't religion just worshipping the upper force and living by its 'rules' or something?
i use the terms religion and philosophy interchangeably because i think it's only ego that makes one believe his or her philosophy or science is any different from a religion. all are based on theorems, are often disproved & revised and are man made... some include deities, some don't. Buddha said that the truth is the moon, and words are the finger pointing at the moon. the words will never be the moon, but they can help point the way. even so, we see the moon with our own eyes (perception)

:o :o

"the earth is round" is not man made, man just discovered this reality and put it in words. and since it undisputedly fits every other experience and correct logical process, you can say it's true
"the earth is flat" - totally different story
interchange that please!

you can expect people to say anything and you can still be surprised...

the idea "round" is man made, as the earth is not a perfect circle, orb or even sphere,,,,

there is no such thing as a straight line, my friend

also, one could argue that globalization and the world wide network (especially when it will be linked to our consciousness through cybernetics) has made the world flat again

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_World_Is_Flat

or that the "world" is composed of plane like dimensions

that's like saying earth is man made because we gave it that name
what's anything got to do with the fact that the earth is not perfectly round?
how can you confuse words with the reality they depict after quoting that buddha example?
this is why i have no hope for humanity to leap anywhere good soon, for 99,99999% of the people confusion is a way of life
