I don't know if anyone has heard about this, but we've encountered some serious shady business, under a business named: Ramp Recordings.
Teebs decided not to blast out all the emails but here is a quick gist of what happened...
Around february this year Teebs was asked to make artwork for a certain artist (artist A)on Ramp and asked for sounds that were specific to the record. A price was agreed on and everything seemed cool. Teebs finished the work and sent it out and didn't get word back from the label for a while. Later on he found out via blog that the label was releasing a different artist's (artist B) record with Teebs original work. Teebs was never informed or ever agreed to this release. He asked artist B of if he had any idea this was going on and artist B didn't and agreed that the situation was terrible. The label manager and Teebs exchanged words and he told Teebs to sleep on the idea of pulling the art from the record. He then went on to tell Teebs that artist B was better to have his name/art attached to and began giving reasons why the artist A had his head in a bad or mainstream direction in a sense trying to convince Teebs that artist B was cooler (mind you they are both on his label)
Teebs told him the next day that he didn't want to see this happen end of story and a few weeks later we are here with the record released with Teebs artwork attached and his name being thrown around as if he agree with all of this.
To add on that, Teebs is not the only one that was treated in this nature that has worked with this label.
Just our opinion, but dealing with this kind of shit is really not worth it.
DON'T FUCK WITH OUR ART.
that's the "Artist B" and the mentioned sleeve: http://www.juno.co.uk/products/hold-on/402073-01/
