Question about 320 conversion

Post by ogunslinger » Sun Nov 14, 2010 7:27 pm

Whats the best way to go about converting your .wav's to 320's? I've been trying to use itunes (convert to aiff) but it hasn't been working for me, is there a setting or another way which is better to get your tune to a 320able tune :P

Yeah it doesn't matter what program just use lame codec. I have been using dbpoweramp because you can to batch conversion to and from whatever file type you want. I used sound forge for years too. Not lame but also good. If you don't have a codec you trust then go with lame by default.

That is one thing that Ableton does not do. You get 32, 24 and 16 bit and that's it.

if you got FL studio you can extract any audio in mp3 320/wav 16/24 bit int/etc

audacity can go about it as well...

But keep in mind the audio that your trying to convert into a new format can only be as good as the audio you placed in the software.
