i got into dnb around 1994. i still have love, but moved toward dubstep in 2006. i like what ASC, dBridge, etc. are doing. i also got my turntables and mixer in 2008, almost strictly for dubstep. i used to check every dnb release to see what was what, but now that's reserved for dubstep. i have no idea what's going on in the dnb scene any more. i've only got so much time!

You ask on a dubstep board? hmm I wonder what the consensus will be -w-

Anyway I don't know why it's one or the other. I like bass / dance music. Or even just good music in general. I was all about DNB from 95 to 04 and started doing the dubstep thing. I like a small fraction of each. Don't listen to DNB that much anymore but don't hate it either. BOTH

neither. they're both boring types of music made by boring people for other equally, if not more boring people to listen to.

agreed with this. i like the autonomic sound a LOT, and i like what some of the local dnb guys are playing, but i'm so spent on dubstep, funky, jazz, brazilian music, bmore club (although it's a stagnant scene now), dub techno, cosmic disco, "wonky"...can't fit another genre!

but the only limit i ever set for buying music...only buy good music. regardless of genre.
