When I saw Slimzee he played all grime apart from Hard (But Foots was with him, so it made sense). He doesn't Dj much now though does he? (Feel free to prove me wrong).

Ha, is it? Why does everyone think it's Ruff Sqwad then? Just time and misslabelling?

Apparently it's a Ruff Sqwad remix of XTC.

that's what the best grime is for me. massive beats and a bassline that tears your face off

stuff like the mondie tune you posted doesn't do a lot for me though i have to admit. doesn't really do anything as an instrumental but then it's probably more made with vocalists in mind rather than something that stands up to listening by itself

love the more melodic side like that xtc tune and rhythm and gash as well though

Love this tune. Been looking for it ever since I heard it on Peel's 2004 grime show.

Big up. :n:

i got it with 60 or so other grime tunes for 80 quid in a job lot but the cheapest on discogs is £25. also had that super rare creeper vs whitney houston track in it as well, and other than those two the rest were really good too

needless to say i was quite happy with that bargain  i still don't think dza has quite forgiven me for "stealing" it from him
