burning cd problems

Post by 55stevieboy2010 » Tue Nov 16, 2010 10:06 pm

ez all,

havin a few probs with what is a very simple aspect of bein a dj, ive always used the traxdata valuepack cd-r disks to burn me tracks onto using itunes (and still use itunes) n when i was newer to the dkin thing i used to burn em on maximum speed n had very little problems doin it that way. Then i was told to burn em on x1 and ive had quite a few probs with cd players/cdjs playin them, says the error thing on pioneer cdj's. is it the quality of the cd, would any one recomment a better one that aint too expensive or is it somethin to do with that im burnin them at x1 now??

help massively appreciated, safe :4:

traxdata valuepack doesn't sound very good. also, x1 seems a bit over the top tbh

usually do em at x6 or x8

burning them too fast makes them choppy and shite.

Yeah splash out on some slightly better discs.....but X1 seems a bit drastic.

i get the cheapest cdrs that i can and i burn @ 40x and have very very few problems.

i dont see the point in buying super expensive cd-rs. i've never noticed a difference except having some dumb brand name on the top. the cheap ones that i get are blank too.
