@Grace
Very nice spacey track; not my kind of dubstep but overall great production quality and feel :D haven't heard dubstep like it before. only nitpick i feel is the drums needing to be a bit tougher, but it may not be the direction you're aiming for.

@JayZest
O_O Good ear therapy, digging the deep bass. Love the vibe it puts out; can't find anything I dislike about it :D

@just-the-tip
very nice! i love the experimentalism. i feel a bit of the synths can use more presence, and maybe ease down on the reverb though.

I made these two songs within the last two weeks in a short time; I'm still a bit new to EQing and making old samples sound right. Feedback is appreciated!

#voodeedooo
not really my style... gets hard to give feedback! both track are a bit groovy, but the sample in the second track is nothing I really like :/

#JayZest
nice ambience-intro! a bit long for my taste... really nice hihats and percs!!! :D: Drop keeps the standard and I think it's nice... a bit outdrawn, but I think you've managed to create a nice track, eventhough this isnt really what I listen to :)

#just-the-tip
really nice intro!! got some sweet ideas there :4: but I would change that basskick... buildup before drop is well made! drop is ok too, a bit different and I Like that! you got some parts in your drop which has potential, but some parts are a bit lame. at 1.12... that wobble in the background sounds wrong.. but you've written a perfect melody for wobbleZ :P nice man keep it up :D

would like to hear some more feedback on my WIP! want to make this remix to a good one :)

@Voodeedoo

it's really nice to hear all the different grooves as they come together instead of the break at the end have another layer added of sound come to a peak and then breakdown

@super ginger

I'm jealous, rap rock dubstep fusion funk music, such a tender hand on that bassline man, really love the progression and even the intro keeps me interested

@sprayyypaint

fucking ill snythy nonsense that suddenly breaks into a glitch hoppy symphony where I feel like i'm huffing paint in the forest, favorite part would be the 56 mark

Don't think too much about this track, just let it get in your head

@sprayyypaint: you must eat your vegetables before you eat your dessert young man

@buddstep: -q- so very very confused... but i gotta say i thought it was pretty fun. it’s got some good energy. i think it could sound cool with a nice sub in some parts just to give it wow factor. hahaha so much vocoder :D

@superginger: some really interesting combinations. did you sample a heavy metal riff for some of those wubs? i like the sound of that a lot, it’s brootal (lol). however, my biggest criticism is that when the bass comes in the rhythms seem random. maybe try and introduce the rhythms earlier? also, some more high hat work would be sick with this. try something fast and high up, maybe change the beat to a 4/4 for a little? 8) it would give it a ton of energy. but nice, keep it up dude! :5:

@voodeedoo: super laid back and chilled vibe. i’m listenin right now and i’m bobbin my head along, the drums shuffle nicely, and is that some sidechaining you have going on with the main synth? it gives it a nice flow. at first i thought the synth was a little too simple sounding, but it’s growing on me. still, maybe add some more effects and stuff to make it really interesting? good work buddy.

here's my newest, more laid back trip hoppy at 170 bpm. maybe it's more breakbeat?... i don't know. but anyways, let me know what works and what doesn't for you, thanks!

thanks for the listen, i will listen to your track momentarily it's not a vocoder (well maybe it is) just a nice yob massive setting
overzealous use of sample and hold, still figuring out the depths of the program

BRing back the synth that starts at 23, i'm missing it three minutes later

THanks buddstep ;) and to everybody else that are giving feedback! :D

#johnst
thanks a bunch for taht feedback mate! no it's not a sample :P got the sound thorugh tons of effects with the FM8 vst. some of what you've said is already taken care of.. but I'm still working on some tweaks! a 4/4 beat for a while could be cool as hell!! thanks alot mate :)

about your track, nice atmos in the intro! not really what i'm into, but yea nice job on those pads and the snare fits quite well there. drop seems well mixed! sub is fine imo :) I would add a highpitched synth or pluck or just something which makes the drop a bit more interesting. I like the part at 3.01... everything fits so well there :)

i thought it would be sort of cool to have just organ/drums/bass there, but i'm guessing you didn't like it :( .

just kidding though, i think you might be right, i'll have to sit on it for a day. thanks for the feedback! and my apologies about the vocoder.

Superginger: thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it even if it's not your style.
i'm tellin you though, i think some quick shuffly high hats and maybe a small 4/4 section would sound awesome! i just listened again and i'm even more certain, but that's my style, it's your song bud. if you decide to try anything like that out send it to me on soundcloud and i'll give you some more feedback! :W:

@Buddstep - This really isn't my type of Dubstep, but I get what you're trying to do, but where is the bass? It's just a wobble of some high pitched noise with an absolutely huge kick and snare. Focus on your mixdown man!

@Superginger - Hey man, this had a n excellent build but just a load of wobbles that kind of didn't make melodic sense. Just a lot of out of time stuff. Focus on wobbling bass at certain rates to make it fit better/make a tune out of the bass!

@Voodeedoo - Different, but nice, I like the unique style to production, something fresh and new. Big ups.

@Zehst - Lovely. Perfect mixdown but the bass could do with being turned up a tad. Seriously nice production altogether though.

@Just The Tip - Sounds...like a good attempt, I think one thing to work on are snares. Learning to attach a nice reverb and making the snare stand out. The kick could do with some eqing so that it thuds through the lower end.

@The Rook - Nice overall production. It's very very quiet though. Perhaps turn it up/eq it up. Give it a bass boost and a massive turn up on the mids. That'll make the track a big one.

@Soosh - Absolutely sick. Beyond sick. Beautiful. Can't hurt it!

And for me.

Previously posted but I will have a new track up in a week or so!

Johnst: I love that bassline. Reminds me of Unicorn etc etc hairbrush (whatever) by Stenchman. That BIG props. All i'd say is that snare could do with more oomph. I suggets maybe layering it with a fat deep bottom ended snare and then your snappy clappy bit ontop. Make no mistake though, this is a very good tune.

Spraypaint: Please pot some feedback mate. As for your tune, very inventive. Some of the levels are a tad out on those synths, but that sub is superb. proper scary tune. I think the drum work could do with more depth - it has to much space in it. Bassline is 10/10 though.

Voodedo: This sounds like a car advert aha. But its really good. Very accomplished. With this style of music, its very easy to just put everything into a haunting minor scale, so I admire your boldness to go for something like this. HAs a hip hoppy kinda beat too.

I'd love some more serious feedback on the track in my SIG BELOW there. I genuinely do need this feedback so I can work it into my WIPs of current. MUCH APPRECIATED :D |

@dj seizure - hey man I remastered it a bit with ozone (watched a couple tuts on it. Lemme know how it sounds)

@Voodeedoo - Nice happy/funky bassline. I'm really digging it. It honestly sounds like it could be in minecraft. I really like it a lot :) :W: 320?

@SuperGinger - Very nice sound dude. Bassline is filthy and the glitching sounds awesome.

@johnSt - I'm diggin the trip hop. The lead sounds great and the track has a solid fluid feel to it. Nice work :5:

@dj seizure again - sex music bro. Good shit. Any chance for a 320?

@Debaser1 - nice filth bro sounds like a cave goblin.. haha. Main bass is nice. I like the dub influence with the bro sound. Vocals are also tight. nicccce work bud! :D:

and a repost of my track. I mastered it a little bit more so hopefully it sounds a little better. Thanks for the feedback

Thanks for all the feedback on the last track. Was helpfull!
@Asterix Mixdown needs alot of work. Your synth is way too loud. Hats too quiet and you really need more sub if your going to do a wobbler imo. Doesnt really sound like a tune to me sorry dude just a collection of wobbles and transformer samples. Keep at it though.

@therook Nice one. Production all sounds good to me. Track kept me interested the whole way. Good job!

@debaser How you make that first bass synth dude? Is it one of the waveforms in massive? I think those cymbles and hats could be louder and more power in the snare It sounds a bit dry to me. Good job overall though. Enjoyed it!

Heres my new one. Feed back always much appreciated. Peace!

- Conflux : pretty damn good, the only improvements I could think of is more variation in your guitar track , and more variation in your pads too. Drums sounded nice, maybe compress the whole lot abit more. Sub was good but maybe fatten it a little bit more.

- Asterix : sorry dude but that track is a complete mess, you don't have any structure flowing and as Conflux said it sounds like a bunch of transformer samples thrown together with some , sorry, crappy wobble. :?

- therook : nice use of the saw samples, they fit right in the atmosphere. only thing i'd say is that your drop needs more working out, gotta make the climax biiig, then like your last piece of vocal single, then drop :)

So seems like my collabs with King Astma are working out pretty good so we did another one:

@Superginger: That remix wasn't bad. It feels like it's almost there, but it's a bit sporadic I think with the basses. Feels like there is a little too much distortion on some of them that made my speakers cry a little bit.

@Jaydot: Really wasn't into that one too much. It feels very incomplete. The basses leave a lot to be desired, particularly on the heavyness.

@Pete Miles: I liked the idea, and it actually does sound pretty good. Feels like it needs some more high end to help fill it out though. The whole thing feels very low end heavy which throws the vibe off a bit for me. could definitely use a bit of chorus or something on the basses to help fill them out as well and give them a bit more depth.

@Reignz: Really don't get into this stuff as much as I used to, but I liked this. You 2 should definitely keep working on stuff together.

Just one of those days....or 5 of those days. Ended up getting stuck inside and had some time to kill.

This track is kind of a play off of a previous track I had posted up in the WIP thread last month. It's sorta similar but at the same time it's not. I'm not really sure if you can call this dubstep, but it's kind of in the vicinity....or maybe not -q- .
