I used to have like 4 cd's filled with incredible dubs id always play in sets, they all came from the dubs section. It appauls me that it has become like that. And yes I may have elaborately told some of them they were shit but others I gave usefull criticism to.

The only person in dubstep who actually deserves abuse is Borgore, and that lady who told dsf to stop hatin'.
Don't be a tnuc to people who don't deserve it.

lol the dubs section is so full of fail:
http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=169752
kid misses the fact that its a remix when dude spells his name with crazy ass letters that are hard to miss
shows you how throwing other artists names into your work gets you attention

also, this, and why does borgore deserve
all the hate? i think the borgore copycats are asking for it a little more

Lol I felt a bit harsh using the word bitch so I edited my post, I'm not sure who it was but they made a thread called "Hate" and they were bitching about all the hostility in the scene.
I mean, it's one thing to not personally approve of hatin' and thus to not engage in it yourself, but I hate when people try to project their moral sense onto others. Especially when it comes to having a harmless (albeit purposefully hyperbolic and incendiary) opinion about something. We're not talking about racism or some shit here.
I'll hate on Borgore if I want to. The notion that I shouldn't out of some ridiculous sense of common "decency" is retarded.

Oh ok that explains that. ahaha
It's funny because I didn't even know the thread was about hating on Borgore or brostep specifically (tho I did take the opportunity to bitch about how I have the right to hate on that shit in there). That's so delightfully ironic. lol

We probably could take back the dubs section, if we all bumped the good tunes and ignored the shite ones. I'm sure we have enough numbers!

wasnt it suggested at one point that the dubs section get split into two subforums? one focusing on brostep and the other on everything else? and then it would become mandatory that you have to label your song one of the two (which these people are sort of doing anyway with the "filth!!!!!" and all that)
i think snypadub would be a good mod for those subforums.
the only problem is that actual good brostep, which exists believe it or not, and which i enjoy from time to time, would get lost in the brostep subforum.
i think it should happen.

christ....i went digging for tunes in that dubs section man....the interesting thing is that more likely than not, it's the tunes with zero views that many times are the style i'm looking for.
my eyes hurt and my head hurts now. too much dsf and too much computer in general today. even renoise is hurting my brain.
i think i need to lay down in my room in the dark for like 10 min just to recover.

I like the idea of subforums, but also agree with the whole good brostep getting lost. Of course there's good bro step, skream has made a few, Kutz makes awesome stuff that might be considered brostep, Benton heads like that. I dunno about moderating, i'm too heavily oppinionated and would struggle to remain impartial
I aint got hate for the people making the shitty beats, my hate resides in the beats themselvdes ( a completely different entity imo).
as Bill Hicks said, 'Love all the people'.

ha yeah i hear ya. there's this one recent cat associated with anti-social i think... had a thread made about him like last week? that guy is ill and his music is more on the rougher side of things.
and it's fucked b/c i generally gravitate towards the more melodic and laid back sort of dubstep, and i try and push that more...but coki is my favourite producer
the irony...

innit, I go wild at a coki set, the thing is Coki does it in a completly different way he makes what you could argue to be filth but there isn't a lack of sublow, his tracks are all still deep and bassy.

true
i gave up casing the dubs section when i found myself searching, fairly fruitlessly,
for stuff to be positive about (let alone enjoy)
I feel weak just bagging people's efforts,
altho still do on
dubstep.com.au, in a rearguard action,
trying to dissuade and educate (

) the chainsaw-addicts.
So i don't blame you synapsdub.

duds section used to be good, picked up some amazing stuff there but its just gotten over-saturated with poorly produced brostep, all the decent stuff tends to get ignored (at least thats my excuse for why my tunes dont get bumped lol)
subforums wouldn't be a bad idea 2bh
