Earbud recommendations

dude for like $30 you can get some close eared Sennheiser HD 201 that will out perform any earbud... not the greatest of headphones in the scope of things but MUCH better than any earbud

that's absolute cobblers. I've got some midrange Sennheiser in-ears for my Cowon mp3 player and they are far more accurate than HD201s.

I've had those for a year and they've been absolutely fantastic. Great isolation, well-detailed and deep, controlled bass.

skullcandy are really, really garbage. tinny, shrilly, and muddy all at the same time.

Shure makes decent earbuds
some are expensive but some are at a decent price

Iv got some Sennheiser CX300's for walking to work and wearing at the gym and they sound great. Got them for under £15 I think.

I bought some Ultimate Ears and broke them within 4 months (cable was too short, snapped the 3.5mm plug off into an adapter)

I have these exact earbuds, and they sound absolutely brilliant.
Top notch sound quality, and they are MUCH better than HD201s imo.

that and the fact that you can't here fuck all when you have them in, even with no music playing

One thing that pisses me off. I pay £200+ on headphones but the bit where the cable/jack meet is still the same kind of connection you get on cheap things! this small bit can ruin the damn things. I am so careful with mine but would just claim them on house insurance if needed

Good PR team at Sony but they make shit and overpriced everything. I use to work for Sony Europe and everything is faulty and loads of other people do things cheaper that work better.

yeah, considering I could've gotten some e2c's for $48 but I went ahead and bought some mid-price point U.E.'s

this will be my 3rd pair of e2c's

they usually last me about 2 years

I do agree with a bunch of people here, for some quick, casual listening, skull candy headphones have always been enjoyable to me. also, i always liked the standard ipod headphones, although apparently they've decreased in quality. idk, haven't owned a pair of my own in years.

For me the Shure E2cs were prob the best sound quality i've head from in ear phones.

But the cable broke on two pairs so moved on to the Sennheiser CX300s which also sounded nice (watch out for the fakes though!)

Now using these as a low budget pair and they are sound surprsingly good considering! Really good noise isolation
