I've seen this twice now, a good few years between each viewing, both times I've thought "What the fuck is Ron Pearlman doing in this?". Great flick though.

UK chav horror!

Honestly I was frightened and disgusted by this movie, it's very good!
it's quite deep also.
8/10, must watch!

Whaddup bitches? Forgot I've not checked in here for a few months.

Eden Lake is fucking quality, saw it at the cinema and loved it. Really great ending too. Here's what I've seen over the past week or so -

The American - Tense and thrilling and gorgeous to look at. Not Clooney, I mean the Italian countryside. Really doesn't explain anything and keeps you asking what's going on right up until the last reel. Great grown-up film-making that I relish.

Benjamin Sniddlegras and the Cauldron of Penguins (aka Harry Potter) - Wee Herimone is coming along nicely eh? Seriously though, fuck all happens in this - its the kids walking through some woods. Basically a shit version of Fellowship of the Ring. Maybe a bit harsh, I loved the dark tone, and it was definitely the most grown up of all the films.

Skyline - This had some shocking reviews, so I was prepared for the worst. And I got what I was expecting more or less. The thing is the visuals are for the most part top-notch but so generic it's hard to care. However, the end of the film is so batshit mental that it kind of made me forget the rest of the film and actually get hyped for a sequel.
