Trawling the net It seems the buzz coming out of S. Korea is that Kim Jong-il may have died.

Either way it looks like s. Korea may be ready for a scrap

His squad is near Kangwon Province [South Korea's province near DPRK], they issued the first level Jindo alert and they are ready for the war. Soldiers are making phone calls to their homes.
I think everyone needs to calm the fuck down....and China need to sort out NK once and for all.....
If the war ever broke out in Seoul or adjacent Kyunggi Province, more than 1 million people will be killed or injured. Winning or losing the war would be meaningless. Those people stirring up the war, please be careful! Your and your family can become one of the 1 million war victims.
