Re: Music theory question again
OH HEY GUYS! I SEE SOMEBODY MADE A THREAD ASKING A QUESTION ABOUT KEY SIGNATURES, JUST THOUGHT I'D WEIGH IN WITH MY VIEWS ON WHETHER YOU NEED THEORY OR NOT EVEN THOUGH NOBODY ASKED ME FOR THEM AND THE THREAD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS ISSUE
Re: Music theory question again
Hehe thanks for trying to save the thread but it's almost a forum rule that any thread that go past 10 posts has a good chance to end up like that.

You answered the question here:kaiori breathe wrote:OH HEY GUYS!
Now the problem has been resolved, we are discussing Musical Theory in general and whether it is 'acceptable' to use notes that arn't in the key you are playing. If that's not on topic, what is? That's even the question OP asked here:kaiori breathe wrote:E,F,G#,A,B,C,D#
It's the Byzantine Scale
And now the forum is elaborating.daft tnuc wrote:If I play chords of another scale and they sound good with the bassline, does it mean my musical sense is junk or is it just a normal thing in music theory (if so, can you elaborate) ?
So perhaps read the whole thread (RTWT) before you attempt to suppress discussion with your CAPS LOCK. ^_^
