My first dubstep song

Post by six6six4kids » Tue Nov 23, 2010 11:58 pm

This is the first thing I've ever been able to put together thats over thirty seconds.
I'm completely brand new in producing dubstep and I'm still not sure what I'm doing. I don't think you can really call this song "dubstep" though. It's more of a Dubstep/DnB kinda thing. I was really just messing around with sounds and seeing what came out.
Am I heading anywhere in the right direction? I'm trying to hopefully get to a more distorted/dark kind of sound soon. But I have no idea how to get to it.
Thanks.

Well, that needs to be worked out! Add some sine base with a low octave to add more bass. My subwoofers didn't recognize this recording. ;)
Plus, you need different drums. But with some work out this could be a cool one. Greets.

That was the most unique wobble I've ever heard (Not in a good or bad way ..)

Weird sound, should be more bassy, as it sounds too lax and clean..

My woofer didn't pick up anything either.

But you are in the right direction.
