These points are two sides of the same coin, no?

Anyway, I'm just adding to the white noise here so I won't go on, but seriously mate, you are in no way bringing a great insight to the genrenamesrestrictprogressiondiscussioncontinuum. Old, old, old. People making the good music tend not to be the same ones fretting on forums in any case.

i'm simply bringing up a viable topic in this day and age that people are unwilling to accept. dubstep is dead but it's not a bad thing. it just means producers have to bring something new to the table.

jesus fucking christ on a bendybus!

EDIT - worth pointing out that post is by an electro-house DJ, who presumably doesn't want dubstep to have any mainstream success because it will take away from his income... :i:

Never usually comment on these ridiculous threads but you've annoyed me. Why dont you go listen to minimal techno or whatever all the other trendy twats are doing. I'll stick to whatever music I personally like regardless of what others think.

music evolves from music... it is because producers can only take a sound so far, that they begin to experiment with the boundaries of it..

i couldnt care less what Mala, Distance, Pinch, Cyrus, Burial, Psyam et al call their music.......

.......i enjoy it...
:)

who cares what genre it is? and why waste time trying to convince us "its dead"...

whether u call it "dubstep", "roughly 140bpm related dance" or simply "music",
this kind of music is far from dead mate...

Vegetables are dead. They need to move over and let other organically grown produce bring something new to the table.

OP, you're exactly right. Dubstep is dead. shut down this forum. every single producer stop producing right now. the genre is to be left alone. Just burn everything. Your records and harddrives are worthless. Dubstep holds no value to anybody on the entire planet any more. Whats the point? Fuck the world!! Lets just all give up on life. Whose with me? ME and the OP are boycotting life.

Whose in?

OP, go home.
