Looking to buy old DMZ vinyl

Post by napper » Wed Nov 24, 2010 5:15 pm

I'm really looking to pick up any old DMZ vinyl going

ESPECIALLY HAUNTED/ANTI-WAR DUB

Anyone switching to Serato and dumping old vinyl let me know.

Peace

If you're after both, then good luck finding a copy for under £60 (they usually go for a lot more but I've seen a couple on ebay go for £60-75). However, if you're just after Anti-War Dub you're best off getting this: http://www.planet.mu/discography/ZIQ159. :D

Nothing quite compares to having it on a heavyweight pressing at 45rpm but for the price, you can't complain really.

Blue Notez is definitely my favourite that I own (or will realistically own any time soon). Left Leg Out and Bury Da Bwoy are sick too. There are a few DMZ releases I like but wouldn't buy (unless I was offered a good deal). The ones I still really want are 005, 006, 009 & 012. Easpecially 006. Goat Stare is insanely heavy.

Trust me, it goes a lot further than just DMZ! :D

I'm currently bargain hunting for Kalawanji/Surgery, Sensi Dub, Mozart 3000/Wicked King Of Persia, System/Molten, Wear The Crown/Slang, Mala - Alicia, Do you Mind (LD Remix), Tropical Rub, Jar War (Loefah Remix) .... the list goes on. (I got decks far far far too late! :()

I shouldn't worry about it selling out. It's actually been in stock direct from Planet Mu for ages. I picked up mine about 6-98 months back and its still in stock. (though now the cats out of the bag, who knows!)

Yeah, its full artwork but unfortunately, although Mud VIP is on its own, its still at 33rpm. Dunno why. I'm sure there's a reason. None of the vinyls are at 45 rpm for that matter, even the Spor track. :?
