i think mine was a particularly bad example. they wanted more information about my finances etc and lost it when i sent it in, and then i had to keep ringing to get the forms i needed sent out to me to send back to them and each time they claimed they were in the post but i never got anything. i finally got through to someone who could tell me the form name for one of them to pick up at the job centre and sent that in along with an arsey letter having a go at them and it's finally come through. i was briefly signing on in cardiff and that went fine though so hopefully you'll be ok. why the claim in bristol got held up though when i'd been getting it fine in cardiff is beyond me

tl;dr - job centre are utter stnuc and useless at doing anything properly. the tories are going on about saving money on welfare and the best thing they could do is employ people who can get each claim processed properly each time instead of wasting god knows how many resources on re-doing everything

it took me 2weeks from signing on to get it, got £100 on the friday, had no money left by 1.30pm on the saturday and found myself spending my last 3.50 on a mug of gluhwein in the xmas market after an mdma binge :h: :h:

what a night, thanks government
