xmas/birthday presents

Post by noam » Tue Nov 30, 2010 12:20 am

so i know when you get to a certain age you kinda start accepting you aint gona get a whole lot, which is fine, i honestly dont care

but you know when someone gives you cash for a present, and gradually over time as you get older... well all im sayin is inflation. but that envelope never gets heavier.

True that.

Also, I live in the UK, and most of my family live in the US. The dollar conversion rate is not very kind.

Although whoever gave the advice in the Christmas presents thread to get your family to make you a CD, props. Although I asked and all I got was moans. :(

"I don't know how to make a CD, though", says my mum, all whilst I'm 99% sure she's surfing YouTube for videos of cats.

take her out for a proper posh meal and book a room at some swanky hotel

basically stuff you can do too which is always great

or flying lessons

or an interail ticket

or expensive makeup/perfume etc. (fucking well boring tho)

or surprise her with a day trip to like, Paris or something

fuck... its really hard to think of anything actually cool and original...

wait!!!

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.
