Thank you very much for starting this Mr Wrexile!

Really good to hear that the rest of you guys are liking it....

A lot of the sounds were recorded specially for the track, using my trusty Zoom H2 : )

I agree, I think this track is a represents the Forensics aesthetic with a more urgent pace. A new favorite

And I agree - I think there's a subtle difference in this compared to other stuff you've done. More rhythm and your depth and atmospherics keep progressing

One difference will be the mastering - I didn't twat around with eq-ing or anything on this track, just handed a raw wav straight over to Henry at Dubstudio. Tried a dodgy master myself, and the difference in sound quality is astounding. Seems I end up drowning out half the elements and allsorts with my amateur fiddling. No more post-production for me, lol! Not sure what I expected really, given that I produce using ONE shitty old computer speaker most the time

But yeah, even with the right setup don't think I could make tracks sound like Henry can. He's had a lot of bloody practice.

Mastering aside, I'm now adding more layers/elements to my tracks - in-keeping with a slight shift in my tastes. My other projects are allowing me to express my more downbeat side, or something. Everything in its right place and all that. Not that I can see myself going too far the other way!
