KJs aka KNOB JOCKEYS [LIVE] (kiss my bass records / rot 10 musik / 1Xtra)
http://www.soundcloud.com/knobjockeys
“The amusingly-monikered Knob Jockeys are no slouches when it comes to thrashing, trashing and mangling beats. Charging maniacally through fidget, electro, breaks and adding a soupçon of dubstep, they crunch together tracks [...] to create a noisy, bass wobbling blast of a mix. Those who like it raw should investigate now...”
DJ Magazine

Knob Jockeys have picked up support not only from DJ Magazine, but have also received Radio 1Xtra/1 play from Rusko and Kissy Sell Out.

MELLA DEE b2b JANGLE [MCR DEBUT] (mista men / radio frequency)
http://www.soundcloud.com/mistamen
Mella Dee and Jangle are two thirds of Leeds' biggest Funky, Garage, and Dubstep night ‘Tropical’, playing host to such names as Oneman, Mosca, Doc Daneeka, Marcus Nasty, Scratcha, Roska and many more. The two are amongst the various figureheads who currently blur the lines between House, Funky, Garage and Dubstep with their freshest selection of dubs from some of the biggest producers in the scene and hidden gems a plenty. Mella Dee is also one third of the up and coming Mista Men, who gain support from some of the leading DJs in the scene such as Girl Unit, Martyn, Mosca, Braiden, and Greenmoney just to name a few. The duo’s Manchester debut is certainly one not to be missed as they go back to back.

You can catch Mella Dee & Jangle each and every Wednesday night 6 – 8pm on the Tropical show bringing you upfront Funky dubplates, UK Garage classics and occasional Dubstep rarities.
