It all depends on how many monitor outputs your graphics card has.

Ask FSTZ i know he runs a 3 monitor setup, he might be able to help you.
they make 3 head graphics cards, but they can get pricey...

I use a software application called "Maxi-Vista"

what it does is allows me to control 2 comps with one keyboard and mouse and it goes over your internet cable (kinda like a remote "PC anywhere" thing)

there is also an option to "extend desktop" over the 2nd computer so you can basically run 3 screens off of one computer as if your ethernet cable and router become an ad-hoc video card

check it out here

http://www.maxivista.com/
yea or you can just get 2 video cards
reminds me i need to ask santa for a kvm switch
seriously fuck a KVM "switch" and all those cables, etc...

use Maxivista.. it's cheaper and cleaner

A physical KVM can cost upwards of $70

Maxivista is only $40 for the good version

even cheaper than a decent graphics card

ahhh so it pretty much uses an ethernet cable as a vga or dvi cable? i would get three mons going but i mean there is litterally NO room on my desk :(

its funny the amount of people who say "why do you need two computers" when they dont realize its just another monitor -w- makes me chuckle

FSTZ - definitely my fav setup here. Access Virus, 3 monitors, plenty of space and room to breathe. Clean, uncluttered desks FTW!

Will post up my pics soon - monitors arrive this week :D

Yamaha HD50m's
M-Audio Oxygen8 v2
Korg padKontrol
Digidesign Mini MBox2
Protools 8LE
Logic 9

All USELESS until I get my Mac from uni.

I refuse to use Reason anymore now I've learnt the joys of Logic at uni :)

Built the desk with me own bare hands though! Black higloss spraypaint and a 3mm thick layer of plastic cut to size and stuck on the top.
