@jack matthias like the sound pallette you've used alot, bass sounds hella powerful and the mixdown is crisp, not sure if the aggy bit towards the end works (but that's more just personal preference), nice track!

@jeeruf, real nice pads and chord progressions in both tracks, sounds all blend together nicely. good sense of space in both tracks too.

@ninthy nice atmospherics in the intro & build up works really well too, not my sorta thang but the sound design on the main synth is decent, good mixdown too.

here's my remix of skittles by mr. mitch (not too sure about the mixdown as my monitors are fucked)

@frizzwah - digging the wonky-ness of this track a lot. interesting, almost purple vibe. i would have liked to hear a tad more cymbals and percussion in some bits though, but other than that, very solid.

@ilv1 - really like the intensity of this track. wobble is good, but i have to agree with some others that it gets a bit overkill with the glitchiness sometimes, although it is part of your style. awesome transitions between dnb and drumstep, good shit

@kilobeats - very sick wobbles. to make the snare have more of a hissy sound so it sticks out more, try resampling it and reversing it. then bring the volume envelope down on where the actual hit is so you hear a bit of a "wooshing" sound (the reversed hit) for a more drastic effect. samples are cool, i dont think theyre overused. good job man

here's one i finished today, more of a dark vibe than usual:

@ilv1 - good crisp clean mix, love the glitch shit. wobbles are refreshing, and good use of effects, not boring at all.

@ninthy4 - dirty as fuck, love it, real bassy, i would rage hard to this.

@arktrix - prolly my favorite one i heard so far, chill but dirty as shit, crisp crisp crisp mix.

just started learning how to properly mix and doing a very poor job, any criticisms in where the mix is lacking please let me know. thanks

@Ninthy4 - Intro is sick, really intense great build up. The rest i'm not a huge fan of because i don't particularly like that kind of dubstep, however for 128kpbs it sounded really dynamic and pretty well produced so good luck with it if you release it.

@frizzwah - Drums sound crisp (esp the snare) and i like the little drum break you got going in the second break before the second drop... maybe having the break continue on after it drops? As someone else suggested perhaps a tad more percussion? Lead line is good, however i can't say i'm a huge fan of the synths, but that's just personal preference, they sound very 80sish and i just don't dig

@acolddayinhell - Different, something seems missing, i think it's maybe your mixdown? Feels like the lead synth needs to be a bit lower in frequency to sort of bridge the gap between the sub bass and the synth (if you get my jist?) i quite like the reggae guitar in between, sample is pretty good to.

@Chip step - Is there an intro? tad confusing in terms of layout, bit full on at the start for my liking. The constant bassline is quite nice and to be honest with some good drums and another darker not so lfo wobbly synth over the top it could be a good tune! I think all the "yoi yois" are a bit full on and over the top.

here's mine i finished a couple of days ago

@bolsty: Fuck that IS a good tune! Mix is crystal clear, it all sounds so right. Awesome groove
on the tune man! Not much i can criticize, top notch production!

@chip step: I dig those low bit sounds, but they're maybe a bit too upfront/loud. Work on the mix on the
drop mate, can hardly hear the snare! The tune tune has some very cool ideas, really diggin the 8 bit vibe,
but the execution is a bit sub par. Keep it up anyways!

@acolddayinhell: Overall a decent tune. Just feels a bit empty at times. The drop is a bit too atonal for me to
really get into, would love to hear some more melodies. Keep it up!

My track, would love some feedback :D

Ok then..........Haven't posted here in ages but Im back in the studio now and banging out tunes everyday!
So its time I got some feedback on my latest tune :)

Don't worry I'll be leaving plenty of Feedback for everybody else too!

Firstly

@ Traffikz - Checked out your tune North Korea.....Very suitable name for the song. Like the asian sounding hits you used. I'd try to make it a bit more bouncy however, its a bit too KICK SNARE KICK KICK SNARE. very well mixed! The basswork was good but its a bit too reliant on the wobble! Maybe try messing around with the drum pattern and changing the LFO speeds. Well Produced track over all IMO

@ Bolsty - I love that downward chordal hook....Sub bass is MINT! Maybe try and add a build up and drop to keep the listener excited! Using reverbs on that main hook and stuff! Cool track though

@ Chipstep - Not a bad mix for a start. You need the watch the levels though. Those 8 Bity sounds at 0.23 seconds are too loud in the mix. The High Part that comes in around 0.51 seconds is too loud as well! I wouldnt use so many of those sounds as they all get too mashed up cause they have such similar frequencies. Love the bit you drop at around 1.00. The wobble is too loud in the mix though, kick drum and snare are lost. And I'm guessing your using a bit crusher or some other distortion effect on the wobble throughout. It just gets a bit too intense. My advice for getting the mix perfect would be. Go to your main mixer (mixing desk) and turn down every track! One by one set the volume of each track about a 3rd of the way up to full volume. Start with the Kick Drum Snare and Bass/Wobble and with some type of graphic equaliser eq the bass and kick drum so that they're highest frequencies aren't the same. that way they'll both be clearer in the final mix. When I mix tracks now each part of the track is actual below a quarter of full volume where as when i started everything was up full and just over compressed. Just keep practicing!

Anyway here's my latest tune....No Insane wobble or anything, its a bit more melodic and Duby.

Let me know what ya think :)

@ Frizzwah- nice track maybe try change up the idea's and some of the sounds, would help the track flow better imo

@ acolddayinhell- Nice seems a bit too sparse in parts, also try switch up that wobble, can get a tad monotanus.

@ Maxbeats- felt like it needed to breakdown in parts, other than that really nice track.

New deep bit from me. hopefully get some feedback :D

Max4Beats - new life - the track has a nice stagger propelled by the nice bass line. I would perhaps stack another snare on top of the existing one to give it some more umph. The washes of noise are also quite successful in keeping a lucid flow. Good work.

frizzwah - artke remix - your ideas are good but I would really work on processing your synth sounds and give them a unique character. Maybe some subtle echo and cretive panning. The outro could be a little better too. It feels like the track sets its self up for a bigger exist than the one you have made.

redjuan - Dude your first tune is really good. The bass line gives it a nice emotional edge but your second one feels like its missing something.... some element that would kind of bring it all together.

Here's mine.

Gimme some mix advice people

sup people fucking cold enit!!

soosh/ love how offbeat it feels, but sometimes it creeps a bit to far out for my liking. vocals are odd and its a little under mixed but the vibe is nice.

ILV/intro synth is a bit basic for me, its a bit too over automated for me but im not a drumstep nut. Pretty technical though, with some mad sounds. Percussion is dirty, love the tempo change and drum pattern change. nice n original, good stuff, bit nuts.

Thuun/ ooo grimey. intro is pretty cool so far, sounds pretty sharp as well. Narsty..... love the steppiness of the tune, mad grimey sounds n melodies, sounds on point on the mixdown. narsty man wtf! 1:50 onwards.....smacked it. gonna put this up for dl?

mchectic/ sounds pretty crisp. nice laid back vibe, nice and shuffly. goes well with this peng cheese zoot. nar killed it mixin it up is nice, garage maytee. smashed it big tune. download???

abs, just listened, nice, good mixdown simple, nice step. like it alot, some sick tune on here this month

Kilo beats/ nice maybe open that bass synth up a bit. Its a bit monotonous but pretty well mixed.

My new one is called Blindside, its top in my sig, enjoy

@ redjuan - Thanks for feedback...I shall now return!
I wasn't really feeling the intro on piano and that but thats just cause I generally hate piano :P However, when it got to 1.10 you really got me interested in the track! The Basslione that drops is ssweet! Mixed perfectly with the rest of the track too. I like the delayed percusion that keeps it moving. The track got better as it progressed just like a good track should! So well done! Good work....defo get some vocals in there and it would appeal to much more listeners

@ Billy Crystal Meth - Thanks for feedback too!
Just checked your track "this is not our way". The opening is fucking dark! Pure Evil! It flows wel up until that break around 1.00 and i like the melodic line your introducing. I think this break dragged on a small bit, i'd reduce it by like 4bars or something. 1.47 this drop is class, but i'd introduce that high line at a later stage cause it takes away from the bass and that arp kinda riddim. @ 2.22 shit was just getting in sane, its like satanic dubstep! Overall its good but needs just a few changes. Make the snare louder. Very Well mixed

Redjuan/ winds up too slow for me pal, percussion is a bit repetitive for me, kind suits the tune though. Not my cuppa but some good vibes a lil rough on the mixdown.

Max 4/ new life Nice reggae vibe always goes down well. its pretty well put together as well and the mix down is spot on. love the soft progression. Just flows along nicely this tune. nice

The tomcraft tune, nice idea man, well put together as well man your arrangements are nice. That main synth is a bit weak. Love the steppy n the twist on the bass. good you love the pulse on the bline dnt ya. not bad at all bud.

My new ones yop in my sig, called blind side. You have to visit the page to hear my KP remix :P

@rat race - nice interlinking synthwork. more interesting lead than i hear on most peoples tracks. dont particularly like the hats. but mixdowns pretty good. only on laptop speakers, but its holding its own against other tracks. the drums rolls at the end sound a little unnatural. but whatever, i listen to glitch hop, so i dont care.

@max4beats - drums sound cool. so do the vocals. feel u should have made more of the vocals after the drops. leads very cool. like above, its much more interesting than most stuff. like the half time bit, maybe just have more gell-ing between the two sections. also the silence before the drop is a little weird. like, no verb or anything?

@billy crystal - think arrangement wise its fine. the synths are really overpowering though. mixwise, more than arrangement wise though. i see its like a synth-centric song, but drums could come up a tad, and maybe something to groove it, like shakers or hats rather than just that wood noise. bare like the last section. feel the space adds something. feel the lower synth could come down overall in the mix. i like the bass and the really high synth together.

if i missed you out, its cos you didnt give feedback.

heres mine... new dark one...

@ RatRaceProducing DIgging your track Blindside man, the melodies sounding really nice and I like the variation with the drums (something that a lot of people miss). Not much to fault here mix is sounding relatively clear, only thing I maybe would have done if it was me, perhaps have the bassline more prominent in the mix towards the end of the track to give even more progression. Good work man :)

@ Billy Crystal Meth I like the intro, although I feel it strings the same idea out slightly too long with enough variation. The lead synth that comes in part way through fits really nice. Perhaps try changing the dynamics at some places aswell, drums and bass for nearly 4 mins solid can get a tad stale. Nice mellow feel though mate :)

@ Redjuan Beautiful intro, really liking the piano and strings. The drums are sounding tight as well :) Ah this is wicked, the breakdown comes at the perfect point. Only thing I would say try to add some more lead parts, maybe a little bit of vocals or a lead synth. Atm its slightly to much just drums, pads and bass. Really sweet track my friend.

And now for my newest track. It's Drum & Bass but I thought I would post it anyway, let me know what you think. Any feedback shall be returned. Free Download aswell :)
