except she didn't and the fact people outside the US think that is good is nauseating. (especially considering the original *gag*)

like someone showing someone form the UK a borgore track and saying 'here is some awesome dubstep''

EDIT: actually it's more like an american covering a mt eden track, and telling a UK person this is the best dubstep in the world

who the fuck is talking about crunk? No one outside the state of Georgia has listened to crunk in about 7 years.

Just sayin the UK/Europes idea of what is good in the realm of hip hop/rap/crossover is often times very very bad. Case in point, that lol video of them bigging up some chick singing a soulja boy song.

Not saying some of you don't have great taste and that some of your artists don't have talent, but in the grand scheme of things your country is very much clueless on how embarassing that shit is.

Like if someone went on american idol with an acoustic guitar and started singing "Sweet Shop" and Simon Cowell chiming in with "ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!"

Obviously as you guys pioneered hip hop, house music, garage, breakbeat, and the other sounds that define your genres.

Just sayin

dunno about that, uk has produced plenty of good hiphop. you're just taking something from a tv show that me and most other heads have not seen as some kind of measure. i had no idea who that woman from the first vid was and i'm quite happy i didn't click play to find out.

plus common got rinsed by chester p in a battle so uk all the way :P

Common is a great studio artist but not really what I'd consider a great representation of a US MC.

Anywho I'm just getting a rise out of you brits  . I have immense admiration for some of your artists but I know you guys have an inferiority complex when it comes to grime v hip hop so I poke the bear when given the chance. Same thing you guys do with dubstep and the US.

But we have hip hop too, which trumps the US scene, mainstream and underground.
