Yes, admittedly, I reckon i was looking at it in the wrong context, or only one context, when i wrote this. Don't get me wrong, i still think as something to expand my thinking, smoking weed isn't my thing but...exactly like alcohol..its a recreation thing, something to set atmosphere and, in a positive and bad way, get your mind off things. And, yes, with music they both work together very well.chico_red wrote:You completely twisted it there oh riteous one! Many people have achieved a lot in life with the odd casual smoke after a hard day's work. Just because it makes you lazy and incapable, don't assume it does the same for everyone.notez_ wrote:Don't get me wrong, i'm extremely interested in altered states of consciousness but...
What does it mean to 'smoke' to a tune? I hate distorting and tainting music like that. You don't need to be 'high' to chill to a tune or enjoy it. It's almost saying...this tune is only good if you smoke to it, like an insult. Perhaps smoking green has never been my thing, i've always viewed it as a set-back drug..doesn't get you very far in the end, if it does, its only giving the illusion it is. Natural progression to altered states, alternate learning is the most potent of all.
And if you're talking about set back drugs, then look no further than your local off-license!
BEST dubstep tune to smoke to.
