This thread should give you a good idea of how to go about making the bass that you're after;

IF you're using FL straight out of the box, you can get a good sound using the 3xOsc synth

Dubstep is generally around the 140bpm mark. This thread should help you with any other basic questions;

Start with 3xosc, its a very simple synth, which is great for learning the basics of synthesis and means that when you progress to a mroe complex synth you will actually be able to use it properly.

In 3xOsc...

Set first Osc to square wave.

Click INS tab.

Click 'cut' sub-tab

Go to LFO pane, turn 'ATK' knob the whole way down, and the AMT way up, twiddle the SPD knob.

Go to mixer. Hit CTRL + L on free mixer track. click one of the little dropdown arrows. Select 'Fruity Blood Overdrive' ... Turn preamp way up, post gain way down, twiddle cutoof knob.

Hit record. Click 'Everything'. Click new pattern in playlist. hit play. Twiddle above mentioned knobs.

Hit CTRL + R, with song mode on, go bck to playlist, insert audio clip, open whatever you just saved that as.

Link to new mixer track. Insert more effects.

Congrats, welcome to resampling, youll be makin bro $$$ in a week.

Oh and 140bpm kick on one snare on either 3 or 2 and 4. Insert more kicks. Hihats on 16ths or fine triplets. Cut them out around the last snare of every 4 bars.
