Snapping an automation clip to pre-set values?

Post by Cronix » Tue Dec 07, 2010 10:04 pm

I'm attempting to create an automation clip in FL Studio 9 that I can set pre-set values that the clip will snap to, such as a (1/4, 1/8) wobble speed.
Is it possible to edit an automation clip so that this would be possible?
The way that I currently change the wobble speed is to create multiple automation clips with different wobble speeds, then copy/paste these, which makes me think that there must be a better way.
I'm also wondering if this is the best method for changing wobble speeds via automation. If anyone knows a better way to do this please let me know, I'm always open to suggestion.

unless your synth has a setting in the LFO for time sync then there is, afaik, not a convenient way for you to do this.

what you're doing sounds fine. i've used a post-it note with decimal values for note-length values... more recently i only want 2 to 3 variation on lfo speed and only for sub so i just use three diff instances of the synth.
