You realize that this comp ends in less than 10 hours though, right? I mean... it's conceivable that you could still come up with a fine tune (one of my best was banged out start to finish in less than 3 hours) but it's a heroic challenge, that's for sure. Good luck!

Speaking of last minute bidness - just submitted the tune I came up with over the free moments I've had the last couple days. Not crazy about the mixdown, but... it's there.

Its all change in here these days man, less time to do them (which i dont mind) and far less samples it seems (which i do mind)

Used to get some hench packs in these a couple of years ago, plenty of variety!!

I like the small pack sizes, it is really the way to go in my opinion makes things more interesting especially when listening to what other people made.

Didn't have enough time or inspiration to get anywhere but I don't mind the short deadlines, it just means sometimes I wont be able to get a tune in.

I agree with that, it is good to see how different everyone can be with a minimal ammount of samples.

But id still like more :)

Alright, goin to wait till midnight for last submissions. Next competition is goin to be a little bit different, upon request I will be extending future comps to 1 month instead of 1-2 weeks, big up though to all the entries thus far, solid work!

IDK, I like the opposite. Had tons of fun with that one comp that had like 8 or 9 total samples, requires lots of fucking about.

Glad I didn't submit my entry in the end, sounds like utter garbage against those.

Have vote, Pilgramage was head and shoulders above the rest IMO. Felt like a proper 'song'. Biggups.

Nice! Didn't have time to finish mine.

Voted Pilgrimage, nice track progression, didn't like the drums though.

Only had time to listen to the first one's, sounding good so far :) Have to wait 8 hours before i can check the rest :(

Not in favor of 1 month comp btw, having 2-2,5 weeks is fine with me. But when it's a month it'll come down to a lot less comps a year. Also we could end up with like 30 entries which is not good for the voting.

I still have at least 5 never entered comp tracks lying around, so be it, i can just finish them without the comp if i want.

Um, and let's make sure you listen to ALL the tunes before voting. At least give it 30 seconds and a skip-ahead if you're not feeling it... 27 listens vs. 7 listens though? :?

Hopefully you guys are just taking your time to listen to 'em.

Image

But 6 votes already... hopefully all 6 of you are in the 7 total that listened to all of 'em.

Buh. :|

This is true... Didn't expect even this many entries this time through.

Some great stuff up there, though!
