Hello everyone. I just wanted to share some news about the coming months for Dub War...

As many of you in the US know, Dub War has been moving around quite a lot ever since our old home Rothko was shut down. We've made the most of a tough situation since decent venues with decent sound that cater to underground music are hard to come by in New York City. Some of the venues have been a good fit, others not as good, but wherever we've had the party the energy from everyone in the room has been positively lively. But we've definitely felt a little homeless, needing a real regular home for the party in the same way that Mass or Plastic People have been proper homes for DMZ and Fwd.

SO...

I'm really excited to share the news that starting in May Dub War is moving to the new club LOVE in the West Village. The soundsystem there is absolutely ridiculous, easily one of the very best in the city. And the room is a proper dark room just the way we like it. Did I mention there are subs under the dancefloor?

ALSO...

We're going to start having the party monthly! It will be the third Saturday of every month, starting on May 19.

AND...

The inaugural night at our new venue will be May 19 with KODE 9 and SHACKLETON bringing the deep vibes to Dub War!

AND...

June 16 will be the Dub War 2nd birthday party. Needless to say we're holding nothing back for this one! Stay peeled.

Thanks to everyone who has continued to support the night over the past 2 years. It's been a great ride and with the new home it's about to get better. Oh, and I should probably also mention, we're going til 6am from now one
