I've actually been thinkin bout making the switch from ableton 8 to DP7. How do you like it? Have you ever used ableton? If so, how do they compare?

this might help , you know in the playlist the light and dark areas if you put the automation clip halfway through one of the light or dark area it throws the whole wobble off. Is that having to do with something like the guy above me said not retriggering the clip how do i make it so it does start over from clip to clip rather then continuing the wobble into the next clip, so that the wobble stops at the end of that not and retriggers into the first not and the next clip.Hope that explains it better im gonna read through something to see if i can find some kinda answer basically what i need to do is start a previosly used clip in the middle of the light and dark area, For futures sake what do you call that or is the light and dark just supposed to make it easier on the eyes.

In my opinion, to be a true professional, you need this upgraded version of Fruity Loops, unlike any other!

LoL, this thread is joke. Late morning laughter eh.

Meh ive tried nuff different Progs n i keep going back to FL. I would say any i have tried have been "shit" but just not familiar. Fruity loops is te one for me with a lil dabble in ableton. Once i learnt my way round it (interface is a tad tricky) its powerful as you want it to be. FL is versatile n all never had any compatability probs with any vst/i or dsi or anything to be fair. Only "bad" thing about it is that its a thirsty motherfooker.
All of my tracks a sequenced in FL, i sample using FL, master using FL. awesome base prog imo. I think i shall stick to it for good now. been using it since FL studio 4XXL lol now im on FL9XXL :P

yeh i truly like it to but do you know how to make it so the clip plays from automation to automation instead of picking it up and throwing it out of wack in playlist like say i wanted to put a clip in the begininng of the playlist and later on in the track i want to put it half way through a set of four "watcha ma call its" you know where it goes from light purple to dark purple if you put the clip halfway through one of those it wont play the same. You know the light and and dark areas in playlist if you dont stick to the pattern it will throw it off.

If im honest fiend that screen shot you posted means nothing to me lol. I change method depending on the track "theme". If its a dirty/grimey track i tend to "manually wobble it". I.e. change the wave shape on your synth so it slides open and closed as per each hit. Then just arrange short stabby notes in the piano roll to simulate a wobble. That way its a bit sharper.
The console you get when you open a new sample or vst in FL has an LFO editor for each part of the track i.e. cutoff, pitch etc. This is a powerful bit of kit for the wobble. What i will do then is create automation clips that adjust the lfo frequency and amount depending on what i want the sound to do at the time. FL makes the auto clips track length now so you literally draw the shape you want. This means you dont have to create 10 different auto clips for the same purpose.
Also most synth have got LFO features built in. These tend to work best with the mid range layers coz it knows its own settings. The FL console treats it like a sample. It only adjust the sample not the physical sound.
Thats how i wobble n it seems to work lol.

!peace!

Whenever you make an automation clip, its going to finish playing through in the playlist, and when the clip lets off, your lfo rate will be set to whatever it was at the end of the auto clip. It sounds to me, like you want it to end somewhere different, even if you cant speak proper english to ask that. Make another automation clip, put the value where you want it, and stick it at the ends of the ones that are ending on wierd lfo rates.

Every tool has the same potential to make great tunes as all of the other ones.
Arguing about Daws is nonsense. I've used FL3 on and tracked in modplug and ittracker (and older ones) and used cubase, logic, live.
They all have potential. It's all in how you use them. I would say that the main difference is the plugins that come with them - logic defo has better quality plugins but (maybe with the exception of trackers) they all have the same ability. you might find a daw that works better for YOU but that doesn't mean that it's better.
