Raw dubstep?

Post by XEPHYR » Tue Dec 07, 2010 4:00 am

Just started to listen to Dubstep, I am the type of guy that has very good ear and I know what's good and what's not.

I'm currently listening to Hardcore (such as Angerfist, Chrono, Hellsystem), Hardstyle (Mostly raw stuff such as Crypsis, Chain Reaction), Trance (Everything really, very melodic and euphoric trance with great melodies and atmosphere).

So, I'm basically asking for the kind of dubstep with raw atmosphere. The track "Bar 9 - Strung Out" is really good. Then we have the more happy with nice vocals such as "7 Keys - Curtains (Dubba Jonny Remix). Please give me some of your favorites with the style I'm looking for guys :)

Well what do we call it then? At least I think it's more raw or darker than most Dubstep I've heard lately.

If you think this drivel counts as dark, you need to look around some more! Check Cyrus, distance etc

ya if were talking about dark, kryptic minds is the way to go. but for raw dubstep id have to go with 16 bits machine gun remix. that tune is fucking nuts haha, but then again i dont listen to a majority of the raw stuff, just not my thing
