Only just seen this thread. Terrible news :(

Always made a point of going in a buying some bits when I was up in Bristol. Awesome shop and wicked, friendly staff. Sad sad times.

Big ups to Peverelist and everyone at rooted. :Q:

:-( Devastating.

Bristol's music scene would not be what it is today without these guys, place served as a platform for so many artists.

For everyone who shopped online it is worth noting that peverelist (manager at the shop) has just started up a punch drunk online store, which i'm sure will opperate with much the same ethos as rooted did. Still not much constallation, online shopping is about 1% as much fun as going in to a shop... But thats just what's happening i suppose.

Terrible news. Only been there the one time but it really is a great store, one of the best.
