Considering the 1:1 proportion of photographers there, I've seen very few decent shots. A couple of nice, though hardly amazing shots in here.

That goes without saying, but from what I've seen the photographers have been allowed beyond the police lines in many cases. People manage to get amazing photos in warzones, I'm sure they can handle some rowdy students.

This is coming from a photography student by the way. The line of police one had potential but it wasn't executed brilliantly.

Regardless on our standpoint when it comes to violence I think some of these images are iconic. We have made a huge statement and done some pretty bold things over the last few weeks. This will definately send a message to the government when it comes to making other descisions similar to this. For too long people have stood back and allowed the gov to walk all over us. They are our servants and we are the masters. WE THE PEOPLE make the rules they help to enforce them, this was an example of them making the rules and that is wrong. Democracy died a long time ago in this country and it is brilliant seeing people taking the brave descision to fight against the coalition dictatorship.
Amazing photos, amazing month. Believe me there is more to come.

I'm glad I went down. It wasn't all violence.
But its a shame that the vote passed, at least that means that the chances of labour getting in again is going to be increased by tenfold
