Catelepsy dubstep remix contest (Eulogy Records)

Post by GameChanger » Tue Dec 14, 2010 12:34 am

Check it out, I'm producing/mixing this album and the band said they wanted a dubstep remix for their debut album on Eulogy Records. I was thinking about trying it but I'm pretty busy mixing the rest of the album so I figured I should give the next great dubstep producer a chance to step up and get heard!

The best entry WILL end up on the UK and US release of "Bleed" as well as tons of other promotion on all the bands official websites. This could be your chance to make a name for yourself!

Standard dubstep rules apply:
140ish bpm
cut EQ intro
filthy drop
beatdown section
filther drop.

I uploaded a lot of really interesting overdubs from various songs on the album to use for the remix on indabamusic.com, I can also isolate the guitars and vocals if you want but I really think these overdubs just need a bass line and a beat. The album has to be done by the 28th of December so good luck.

join the session over @ indabamusic.com to get the stems,

You can hear a preproduction track from the album with some of my production to get an idea of why a metal band wants a dubstep remix on their cd, it kinda fits in with the production on their album already.
