Egoless - What happened to this person? The whole "no ego no problems" thing was cool.

Zeno - making good tracks nowdays.

Max Ohm - Hear his mixes all over the place but the dubs he makes deserve more play.

To the people who say Widdler, what are you guys on? There's a good reason why he's not more popular... his music is fuckin terrible.

2562 is underrated

I disagree entirely. The Widdler is an awesome producer, the scope of his sound is wide. We've been playing his tracks for around 2 years now. In fact there is a free remix by him in the Happy Holidays from Bass Fueled Mischief thread.

2562 isn't underrated at all, gigs and releases constantly. His side project is doing rather well too.

Antiserum is heavily underrated imo, but I doubt that will last I have a feeling 2011 will be his year.

Reso and The Widdler are easily my 2 favorite producers, and it guts me that they're mentioned (fairly) in an underrated thread.

Also, +1 for Riskotheque.

How do you decide if someone is underrated or not? What is your opinion based on and what factors do you think make them become rated or infact overrated?

There are lots of really good producers out there, and it doe's almost feel like the attention seeking wanna be Skream element is becoming a little less prevalent. So do you think this will make room for more up and coming break through producers who actually have music of some substance?

Some top producers we really rated in the office this year:

3rdeye - His 'Road to Awe' ep on twenty/twelve is amazing!
Pressa - He's gone from strength to strength this year coming with a really distinct sound.
Fused Forces - These guys really do a lot for the scene, great to see them shining through as we approach 2011.
DCult - I guess relatively unknown, well worth checking he has some serious tune!
Lysergene - We are proud to have put out his music this year, real quality sound system music.

so many others the list just goes on, hence the questions above.!
