It's even reached Plymouth now.

Which is a pain cause I wanted to take all my clothes, some records, turntables, mixer, cdj and Korg MS-20 back to my mums house cause I'm gonna be there for a good few weeks.

If the roads are fucked I might just have to take the train and only bring some clothes and my laptop back.

Think I'll go for a walk either tonight or tomorrow. Have a look about at what it's like. Haven't been out in it yet and I do actually fucking love snow when it's not being a pain in the arse travel wise.

what the fuck the council here is useless.
barely an INCH an INCH!!! on the ground, yet the buses aint running. apparantly the council thought it would be a great idea not to grit any roads.
no work for me today, but tbh i need it.

its funny watching from my window tho, one car has been trying to get up the (fairly steep) hill outside my house for bout half an hour, originally there were bout 4 guys helping push it, 3 have given up lol and theres one cold lonely bloke, oh wait there all back now.

i saw a spreader go past last night, and im telling you fam, i put more salt on my DINNER than they were putting down on the road, most of it ends up on the fucking pavement or in the gulley ayway. council heads are a waste of semen.

I can preciate the out of city heads being stuck. But fucking London. Almost every train line is fucked. How incompetent cant people be. Was about 100 people waiting for buses in Ealing Broadway an hour go. Probably still there. Walking back from my girlfriends and I see little familys at bus stops and it occurred to be the buses probably won't come. Seen no salt on the roads as well. My grandad's had to stay at work all night because he can't get home and he'll probably have to grit at some point as well.

Seriously, despite the fact that it still happens from time to time, Britain still never bothers to prepares at all for snow

Got my flight cancelled out off Manchester on Friday because of it. Now I will be flying tomorrow if things go good.

Why don't they just build hot water pipes underneath runways to remedy the ice and snow on the tracks!

its cos its not worth spending the £ for something that never happens that often. now its happening more often though, im sure ther'll be public outrage, and investigations til everyones blue in the face.

and the buses did end up running today so i had a shit day at work :q:

this is it, in canada/the states you guys get it like clockwork, so your used to it. we have the most unpredictable weather in europe for the most part....
ive seen rain/snow/sleet/sun/wind and hail all in a matter of hours.....
and we like nothing more than complaining about the weather. long live our maritime climate! :Q:

So glad I had an early (7am) train out of Kent yesterday. Fucking vexed when I had to walk halfway across manchester carrying a 40kg suitcase full of xmas presents though. :x

True say on the gritters too. The district council I work for where I live has two gritter lorries and a pitiful amount of salt stockpiled. I'm just hoping it all clears for Wednesday. Not about spending christmas away from your mates and definitely not about missing the end of year/mates birthday party on boxing day. Especially when hes just bought two Funktion One tops. :(
