Tripwire: Reminds me od a tune radiohead would do in their KID A era. Pretty fucking chilling. Love it though, I think you could make this into something very interesting. Kick gets a tad loud for my taste in relation to that rimshot, but hey I'll let you off cus its a dope track.

Grok: Your production is always bang on mate. Kick is luscious. Lovely chord sequence too, pad in the background is nice too. And WHAT a drop. Really well done. Reminds me of MEathead by Flux Pavillion a little bit. Very nice automation of pitch too. Very very good track this. And yes I ignored the gap ;)

Astral: Drum sounds are pretty cool and tight when they enter the mix. I think in general, this is a very tight mix anyway. I love how restrained youre keeping that bass. For me? I'd pull it out a tad further. It's EQ'd nicely to be very bassy, but just a few db more in volume to match that kick. Vox sample is sweet as a nut too man. Love this.

So today I moved into the realms of progressive dub. I've got a feeling that whenn this is done it could be over 5 minutes, maybe more :o
Soundcloud

Anyhow, make sure you listen to it all, cus the last chunkis more like regular dubstep. AND feedback is really key here guys, cus it'll influence the direction I end up taking this track!

Debaser1- Good track i like this one, reminds me of benga a tad, just has that feel to it. all the elements fit together really nicely, could have a quality tune here man just keep at it.
Rmonik- If you made this in half an hour, good job pal, its decent. Maybe work on your midrange bass, make it more varied and a bit grimier maybe. your white noise riser for me needs to be louder and thicker, it doesnt create the tension before the drop that it needs to.
Astral- Lovely vocals in the intro, the drop is just lacking. the drop needs a lot of work, the bass needs to have some real punch in it imo. just more variation for the general track i think, some of your loops get slightly repetitive in the first section after the drop.
Soundcloud This is just more of a half formed idea really, lightyears away from completion but feedback would be great :)

@subtilize - very clean production here mate, not muddy whatsoever, great sounds as well! theres a sound in the background that gets a little repetitive though! another thing id make it a little more progressive but thats just me! :)
@grok - reallllly liking this, up my street for sure! shit hot synth at the beginning, awesome melody, the drop definitely does the buildup justice as well! let me know when you finish it because id love to hear!
@corridium - great synth and riff at the start, makes you wanna hear the drop more and more! awesome effect on the snare, is that a reserve snare just behind it? i could imagine this being a pure banger on a good soundsystem!
@cheeky - great work on the mastering, fits around well! id reduce the lfo on the cutoff frequency of the wobble, just so it sounds smoother! :) maybe adding a pad in the background to give the tune more of a structure!

Heres my final version! :)

Corrodium & Grok comments on soundcloud guys, nice stuff :4:

My latest WIP boosted the drums slightly, as per previous suggestions. Let me know what you guys think.

@Debaser1 - Sound tune bruv, would take some of the very high end off the shakers/hats.. The 3rd section is sick.

Cheers man, that's an ace compliment :)

LOVE the snare in your WIP. Proper whip and I love sounds like that. Getting fed up of these metallic sounding snares nowadays. All about CHUNKY snares. ANYWAY, bassline is sound, as is the sound, just needs some textural changes. Also, bass drum gets a tad lost, and that cymbal hurts my face haha :/. Those congas are sweet though. Reckon you got the foundations though here man, just vary it up and refine it :)

I've been producing for about a month now, and I'm going to figure out this site so i can give some feedback, but for now here's the newest track I've been working on. I don't really know where to go from here so any input would be greatly appreciated :))

YO! completely new to this forum, been messing around with production really enjoying it. However, as soon as the tunes got too much going on (too many massive channels etc, itll start lagging and is pretty much impossible to produce, Stupid laptop overheating. Should eb getting a macbook soon) But yeh, this is what i have so far let me know what you think :)
it is not mastered whatsoever i knwo the drums are too loud etc but my craptop is being so slow i cant be bothered i just kkinda want some opinions

DJ rayness: love the vibration in that bass!!
Debaser1: More of the wavey sound at 1:50, sounds very good! also love the percussion throughout the whole track

guys I know youre new but you got to post three comments before you post yours for critz
anyways heres mine
Dokee keep at it, youre understanding layering so practice making different sounds now. The 'big tunes' are layered like that with beefy synths
Mawsta thats a cool tune, I like how doomy the progression is !
Debaser that songis cool could use some sidechain compression on the bass noises to make it really bump ! Maybe switch it up after like 16 bars

It shouldn't take too long to read the rules of the forum guys. It baffles me how people can expect feedback right away, as if this is some sort of drop in centre.

@thuun your production skills are on another level man, sick man! nothing really to criticise haha.. you have the skills mate maybe you should work on making your songs more appealing to the masses should make a more of a connection with the listener try to emulate some sort of emotion in your songs
@lukeraith really like melody but feel the volume needs to be lowered, and feel the drums needs to be more prominent cant feel that beat yo
@cheeky need to work on that wobble maybe stop it on the reverbed snare i reckon that would be sick, this song has real potential man, really like this! fucking diirrtyyy

here is my wip, think I really need to learn song structure and builds up, drops and that. starting songs but kinda lose motivation and start new projects only really have 4 bar loops lol

I apologize. I understand that it takes rules, to run a good community, and I love this community so far. I’ve heard some amazing creative tracks that I would have never had the pleasure of hearing if it wasn’t for people posting their tunes on this site. Anyways, here are my feedbacks
@Thuun- This shit is on a next level. This is by far one of the best tunes that I’ve listened to on this site so far. I love all of your sounds, really intricate unique synths! And I love the transforming sound in the drop. I need to know how to do that!
@mindcontrol- I’m feeling the groove to this, it has a nice feel. I would increase the sound level of the wobble though, it needs to shine through alittle bit more in your mix. I see that you need to learn buildups and drops. Just listen to other people tunes and see how they incorporate build ups and then put your own personal touch on your tune. Keep up the work man never lose motivation!
@Dokee- I like the build up on this one man, what you did with the white noise was pretty cool. I have to agree with what Thuun said though, just layer up with some more synths to create a beefy massive sound and this is going to be sick man 

Mindcontrol- Definitely learn your song structure man, your tunes will benefit from it so much trust me. There's a thread on this forum about song structure somewhere, its utter gold. I like all the sounds in your track, maybe work on making your loops 8 and 16 bar loops rather than 4, it makes things a bit less on the repetitive side. Also variation in your track but once you learn a bit more on structure and composition you should be all good. mix downs i am awful at so i cant really help you there but on the whole good effort :)
Mawsta- Top tune mate, all i can think of is make the bass a bit sharper and have it stand out a tad more. it needs to really hit you and not just be another element imo.

Hey everyone! Posting my WiP here and I'd like your opinion on it. Here is my feedback, three as promised!

@Cheeky - Like LukeRaith said, lower the LFO on the cutoff, it's sound kind of harsh. The melody is awesome, but you could maybe add a few flavours, like going up an octave, or changing the waveform of the bass at one point, or maybe change a note towards the end.
@DJRaynes - I listened to this song last night before I slept, and I really felt relaxed. The beat is simple, but simple isn't bad, it makes the song real chill!
@Mawsta - The beginning reminds me of Metallica's "The Day That Never Comes"! Haha. Man that is a sweet drop. And at the end, is that Dexter speaking? :p

Now here's the WiP...

Enjoy! :e:

@dj nation thanks for the feedback man, that was the first i've gotten for that tune, but i'll def. keep everything you said in mind bro. Nice tune man, the intro is nice, i think the only thing id like to see is maybe a different drop, or maybe beef it up a lil? idk, but other then that its dope, nice bass and drumwork dude
