Funny you should bring up the kicks I was trying something experimental in this track by taking the real low out of the kicks that were not the first of the measure, Im sure soundcloud didn't help out any of this hah.RatRaceProducing wrote: LordBid/ nice n spacey, sub is nice n smooth n low. the lows on the kick seem a bit inconsistent like your sub is effecting it or its got some weird comrpession on it. Althought the mid bass synths and wobbles sounds sick they are just a tad dry imo. percussion it nice, n there is plenty of space in the mix man good job. like the beat switch up it almost goes bassline style. gotta say bassline is good man, im liking your style. something a little different for my ears. Nice
As far as your tune - Something tells me I want your drop to have more impact, right now I feel its kind of expected, and while the bassline and the tinkly synths are awesome, the drop kind of lets it down by not creating quite enough attention, It doesn't have to be drastic but a little something something would be nice. Like the drum beat, you got that nailed, and most importantly it doesnt get repetative. I think you should think abotu adding little crash hits and other stuff to keep the beat rolling, I find this usually really helps out my beats a lot. Otherwise your bassline is sick and def grooves!
