juno download is one of my favourite structured mp3 shops, got pretty good categorisation as well as a considerable amount of tunes. Its always going to take a long time to weed through the shit at any download store, because the nature of download means there is a much larger output of material - whilst its nice to think of people running a download shop how one would run an independent record store, as a business prospect it doesnt seem particularly profitable, at least as a standalone thing.

people lump him in with dubstep because he's shamelessly hopped on the bandwagon despite a few years ago slagging off the entire genre in a very disrespectful way.larspro wrote:DREdio wrote:i dont get why people group Bassnectar in with dubstep. Yeah, 'Into The 90s' from Photek's Stone Cold Killa EP is "half-step", and that's from 1994.prisoner wrote:and Digital before him.bobby_dozen wrote:Lets not do the whole "Who did half-step first" argument. I think most people doing it these days are waste compared to Amit, who has been doing it forever...

(pretty sure photek had some half-steppy stuff in the late 90s too....)
But all sensible people know that that is just an element of d&b, "Drum-step" is just people over defining things. as per.

This! Digital-Tunes is my retailer of choice any day of the week because the wavs cost the same as mp3s. No wav price gouging like Juno, or lack of wav and sometimes lack of hi-fi digital altogether like Boomkat. (Can't be arsed with FLAC, either)WatchYourStep wrote:I buy most of my shit at digital-tunes. Can't go wrong with €1.33 wav files!incnic wrote:stop shoppping there

Yep. Also, convert wav to Apple Lossless for smaller file sizes, album art and lyrics data FTW!♫♪♫ wrote:This!
