Bass Cannon - Flux Pavilion

Post by TooMuch » Thu Nov 04, 2010 10:21 pm

Went to go and see the Circus lot in Leeds on Tuesday @ Bigger Than Barry.

Flux tore that place a new one. Never seen him before and have been wanting to for so long.

Possibly the biggest tune ive heard from him. Not on a talent level but a level that will just creat havoc each and every time it drops. Its huge and needs releasing!

Due to be released in 2011. Few months to go...

Saw Flux & Datsik do a set together this summer, it was an amazing experience. The only problem I have with this song is that Excision's got the whole "Bass Cannon" thing on lock, this just seems like he's trying to cash in on it. Glad he's doing some harder stuff for once tho.

Excision & Downlink - Existence. Listen to a clip of that, should be clear where I'm coming from.

Apart from using the "Bass Cannon" sample, I REALLY can't hear any similarity at all! The Rottun sound to me is completely different.

well....ya, that's the point. The Bass Cannon lyrics in the samples. I'm not comparing them musically at all. I'm just saying that Flux is using a theme that Excision is known for in his song.

Sounds very similar to the bass in "Big Boss" to me. Don't really feel that tune but this one looks a bit better

Flux needs to go back to his Fuckin' Noise, Air Raid days.

This tune doesn't even get close to them tunes.

All the hype artists are all just blending into one now.

Even Got To Know just destroys everything he's done since. There's no more attitude in his tunes, no more darkness or weight to them.

Yeah, eh!

I'm not hating, I just don't get why all the kids are spazzing out over it.
