after my 3 months of producing i found out what a vocoder did and like 2 weeks after that i tried it and you get pretty decent results not exactly but pretty legit results

Music really sucks right now. If I wasn't so old already I would just dip out and do something else for a while and come back when this crap is over. Seriously though there is a lot of really underrated music that is being burried right now. I am not saying Skrillex or Datsik is untalented because that isn't true but there are a ton of producers tugging on coat tails of the top producers that are very untalented and populating the charts. Really cant get into it tbh. Have you heard any of his tracks through a system? Ranges between mediocre and fucking underwhelming in my limited experience. Plus the Mila Kunis sample (why reuse such a shit [or any] sample) and arps in the tracks severely underwhelm me. Thats just my opinion tho, hes getting millions of youtube plays so obviously a lot of people love it. Good luck I say, Id 100% rather someone like him blows up than some thieving narcissist Prolific/Foulplay caricature.
